The Department of Communication Studies at Edgewood College, a small liberal arts college in Madison Wisconsin, invites applications for a part-time Lecturer beginning in the Fall 2008 semester.
Responsibilities: This is a one semester appointment with the possibility of renewal for a second semester. Teaching responsibilities consist of two sections of the College’s required public speaking course.
Qualifications: M.A. in Communication with a record of excellence in teaching public speaking. Course work beyond the Masters is desirable. The candidate should a commitment to teaching excellence and to integrative/interdisciplinary approaches to learning.
The candidate must actively support the mission of the college by working with faculty, staff and students to share in our core values - truth, compassion, justice, partnership, and community.
Review of candidates will begin July 14.
