AAR magazine is published monthly, with the exception of a June/July combined issue. The magazine is published on the 15th of every month (June/July issue is published on July 1)
Closing Date:
The closing date is the 8th of the month you want your ad to
appear (June/July issue deadline is June 23). No cancellations
or revisions will be accepted after the submission deadline.
Ads not approved by the closing date will not be included in
that month’s issue.

Proofs and price quotes will be provided to you for approval prior to publication. Please provide us with contact information (fax and/or email address). Ads over one vertical inch will be billed to the next quarter inch. All ads are billed on the basis of actual space used.
There is no additional charge for typesetting, using larger type, combinations of type styles/sizes, block ads containing several position notices, borders around ads, or logos or seals. However, if any of these options increase the size of the ad, you will be billed for the actual space used.
Logos should be emailed to AAR in pdf, eps, or tiff format.
We do not accept faxed copies of logos or seals. There will
be added charges for multiple revisions from YOUR original copy.

Publication Date:
Website-only ads are posted the 15th of each month, to coincide with our magazine closing dates. They will remain online for 30 days, unless you specify that you would like to purchase a longer time period.
We can accommodate immediate online ad placement if your need is urgent—let us know and we can have your advertisement on our website within 24 hours of receiving your approval.
There are no size limits for online ads.

A 20% discount is available upon request for companies, organizations, or academic institutions that place two or more website-only advertisements. Advertisements for different time periods (30-day, 60-day, etc.) are eligible for the discount; however, they must be initiated in the same billing cycle. This discount cannot be combined with any other discount and is not available to advertising agencies
Online ads may be submitted the same way print ads are submitted, however, you must specify that you would like your ad to appear on the website only, and indicate desired run dates.

WITHOUT WRITTEN CLIENT APPROVAL**

Agency Commission:
15% of gross invoice amount, provided (1) payment is received within 30 days of AAR’s invoice postmark date and (2) the advertisement is submitted as camera-ready art. Agencies forgo this discount if they request AAR staff to typeset and design their ad.
Prompt Payment/Cash Discount:
2% of net (after agency discount of 15%) if payment is (1) received within 10 days of postmark date on AAR's invoice and (2) made by check. Discount is NOT available for credit card payments.
***Accounts not paid within 30 days are subject to a
finance charge computed at 1.5% per month.***
